Apolonius joins forces with the humans to free them from their oppression, by using the legendary giant fighting robot Aquarion That is, until one of their kind, Apolonius, fell in love with a female human warrior, Seliane. Twelve thousand years in the past, mankind was at mercy of the mythical creatures known as Shadow Angels, immortal winged beings with overwhelming powers and technology. The characters are great and easy to get a feel for, which is why I could easily get into the anime. In my eyes however, it was mainly action, but there was love stuff too.
There was also romance, which played a part in the show and the backstory behind the show, so that plays a key part. It was really great, with action and mecha type things. For a little while, I absolutely loved this anime more than any.
